My name is Kayla Scheffler and I have been working in the beauty industry for over 10 years with a focus in editorial and weddings. My most proud moments in my career are: working directly with PlayBoy as Hair & Makeup Artist, assisting for New York Fashion Week SS25, and being lead artist for NMG Network.

I’ve had a passion for hair and makeup since I was 4 years old and I would always tell my parents that I would own my own salon one day. 26 years later and I am still doing what I love but as a freelance Makeup Artist for brides, brands, film, and more!

I’m originally from Boston, MA, and grew up as a “city girl,” but I have been living in Oahu, HI for the past 5 years and love exploring my adventurous side: hiking, surfing, and sailing! I live out here with my husband, dog, and cat that I love so much.

My favorite part about being an artist is meeting all of my new clients and having “chair talk.” I’ve formed so many friendships and repeat clients through this career and I am so thankful for that. I am looking forward to meeting you and creating a memorable beauty experience for you to cherish!
